This resource introduces the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, which aims to assist those with vision related disabilities and need assistance in acquiring equipment and supplies. This program will assume upwards of 75% of the overall cost required for the purchase of the equipment. Such equipment includes, but is not limited to, canes, audio book playback machines, and specialized glasses and other optical aids.
