Use this information and referral numbers to find out about supports, programs and services available in your community.

AIDS and Sexual Health Infoline and eChat
This is a province-wide free anonymous service staffed by professional, multidisciplinary, and multicultural counsellors who offer assistance in different languages.

Distress Centres
The Greater Toronto Area 408 Help Line provides 24-hour support to those in crisis situations.

Addiction and Mental Health Helpline
ConnexOntario provides free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental illness or gambling. The service is funded by the Government of Ontario. The information and referral service is live answer 24/7, confidential and free.

Health Care Connect
The telephone line provides a service for finding a primary health care provider, which can be a family doctor or nurse practitioner in Ontario.

Long-Term Care ACTION Line
This is a help line for home care clients in Ontario. Use this number if you need more information, have a concern or want to register a complaint about a long-term care home.

Lung Health Information Line
The Lung Health Information Line provides information on a range of lung health topics including smoking cessation, healthy air, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and allergies. The telephone service also provides information about programs offered by the Ontario Lung Association. Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 4:30.

Senior Safety Line (SSL)
The Senior Safety Line provides information, referrals, and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in over 150 languages. The hotline is a toll-free, confidential resource for seniors suffering abuse, including financial, physical, sexual and mental abuse and neglect.

Smoker's Helpline
Helpline provides access to smoking cessation resources in your community including organizations, services, programs and other supports.

Telehealth Ontario
Telehealth Ontario is a free, confidential telephone service you can call to get health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse. The service provides round-the-clock access, to a qualified health professional. It can help you decide whether to care for yourself, make an appointment with your doctor, go to a clinic, contact a community service or go to a hospital emergency room.

Toronto Seniors Helpline

The Toronto Seniors Helpline is a single point of access for seniors and caregivers to receive information and access to community, home, and crisis services.Toronto Seniors Helpline is staffed by caring and certified professionals. Toronto Seniors Helpline is open 365 days/year from 9:00am – 8:00pm Monday to Friday and from 10:00am – 6:00pm on weekends and holidays.
